Books
I'm a slow reader and I don't really read anything for fun these days, mostly to stay informed or learn things.
- by Aeron Dusk⭐10/10Unlike MoA, there was quite a lot of post major conflict story (my favourite part of a story) which was my main criticism. The Varcross Key has really good pace with a great balance of relationship, drama and comedy. I was glued to the book, so drawn in that I was reading it midway though the day instead of only before bed. You are mostly in the PoV of the main protagonist but I would have liked more PoVs of other characters like Derrick, Toby and Vince. I though the ending was really well put together and is the best one hes written so far: great delivery and leaves room for a sequel (but not a cliff hanger). Can't wait to see what Aeron brews next!
- by Lech Blaine⭐7/10
- by Cliff Kuang, Robery Fabricant⭐6/10I think the last few chapters help make this book better. I really struggled to get through this book as it was not formatted easily for me to absorb. it was really hard for me to absorb the content as it the examples told more like a story then case study. I think I would have enjoyed this as an Audiobook. There did put in some really good examples.
- by Aeron DuskGreat story so far! Will update when series has finished.
- by Aeron Dusk⭐9/10I loved it! It's a good story novel with a good balance of romance, drama and comedy. Got really hooked on it and finished it within 2 weeks, can't remember the last time I read a book so fast. I wish there was more length after the main storyline, there was a large time skip but I think the author is looking to expand more around Amulii with a web novel. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a short read and wanted to read some great werewolf drama.
- by Aeron Dusk⭐9/10I really liked this story. It had everything I needed to stay hooked: funny, entertaining, engaging (and a good level of smut). My favourite parts were the interactions between different characters and their POVs. The pacing was really good until the end, it seemed like everything was all mushed together. I ended up reading it all in like 3-4 days, looking forward to reading the other books/stories.
- by Sheri Byrne-Haber, CPACC.⭐7/10Actually a pretty good short read and a lot of it is relevant to not just software development or web design. I am a fan of Sheri; she sassy but not sassy enough to rub the wrong way. Best part is that its free!
